Welcome to the new website of Windpusher Racing & Fabrication!
Windpusher Racing and Fabrication, LLC was originally started in 1981 by the late Sam Faur. The company at that time was called Windpusher Supply. Sam’s passion for auto racing provided him with the opportunity to not only get behind the wheel but start a business where his hobby could earn him a living. After several years of building stock cars, Sam saw an opportunity to supply racers with parts for their race cars. So he changed the name to Windpusher Racing Products. Windpusher Racing

While Sam was growing the parts department he also was one of the first chassis builders in the state of Michigan to help start the IMCA Modifieds. Sam was on the forefront in developing this racing class. Sam was able to grow his company to a point where at times he had several employees. Shortly after Sam’s passing one of his former employees (Bobby Murany) approached his son (Chad Faur) about keeping the company open. Bobby not only fabricates and builds the race cars but he also is a racer himself. Those two combinations go hand in hand with Windpusher’s winning chassis designs. Shortly after several meetings Bobby and Chad opened up Windpusher Racing and Fabrication, LLC in July 1st of 2008. Their goals are to include a new look to accommodate the racers demands. They are not only going to focus on short track racing but to help out drag racers, street car enthusiasts, road course divisions, and many other forms of racing. They are looking forward to earning your business.
